Conceptualised at the dawn of the social era in 2005, lovewine was a brand that we developed in partnership with Spitfire, The Digital Agency. This brand and digital network was created to meet the needs of women who love wine. This vibrant, fun and innovative brand was born with a customer first user experience strategy, born out of a single minded focus on meeting the needs of female wine drinkers as key influencers and drivers of the expansive growth taking place in the global wine marketplace.
It was a trail blazer in terms of changing the way wine was marketed in New Zealand. The social network launched in 2009 and quickly attracted an engaged and committed fan base. Charisma Social was responsible for all content, community management, brand development, IP trademarking, social marketing and the day to day management of Lovewine Ltd. In late 2011, the digital properties were sold to Crate Enterprises, owners of lovefood.com and lovemoney.com
