The Animal Connection

The Animal Connection was the vision of ideas entrepreneur Michele Harrod. She created a charitable trust  to create a nurturing haven where young and old can connect with animals. The campaign focused on leveraging the connection people have through social networks, to unite them in helping make a difference.

Charisma Social was engaged to develop the brand, project manage the website development, launch a dynamic and engaging social campaign as well as manage all digital strategy and content marketing.

While the campaign did not reach the NZ $2.4 million target, it did connect with its audience and create meaningful conversations and raised nearly $214k towards its target in a very short time frame. Michele is in the process of redeveloping The Animal Connection website to relaunch as a more personal project in the near future.
